“Attention Ladies: From Insecurity to Maturity in Christ”

This post is a special post for all Ladies!  I say all I say in love, please understand that we have to mature each day.  It is okay to have preferences, but make sure you do it in love.

I have experienced some difficult situations when dealing with women, and God has finally released me from worry and indecisiveness about who I am to others and what I may or may not stand for in the light of others view.  I show myself to be a friendly person to all people as a whole, and have learned to remain very humble in situations.  We never know who is watching or who may be looking up to us to gain a good model of accountability.  God’s promise will make your name great, NOT the people you are friends with, close to, associate with, or any admirer.  God says “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing” Gen. 12:2 (NIV); Isaiah 42:1-7 (KJV); 2 Samuel 7 (NIV).

We may not like a certain girl or woman, but we must be accountable for the  unnecessary evils passed by self-righteous judgment or basing a decision to write someone off because of the actions of a previous person or personal knowledge/ history.

Sometimes, we as ladies, do not give each other a chance to know each other.  In some instances it is because we can become so defensive, jealous, envious,  and blind with covetousness and straight confusion on what is true and knowledgeable.

What I have found in some personal cases of my own is that it is just a smoke screen that the enemy (Satan, the devil), will put up to prevent greatness from attaching to other greatness (one great lady to another great lady= POWER).  Instead of pulling each other down ladies, let us choose the high road in God, show Godly love, lean not to your own understanding, and encourage each other at the very least.

Our Heavenly father speaks to us regarding showing favoritism. Displaying favoritism to intentionally cause a negative reaction is not an option in the kingdom of God.  Ladies, please understand, that, if you consider yourself saved by God, please consistently display attributes of being a new creature in Christ by practicing daily, as there is a higher standard spiritually that rise up within us (God in US).  It is also dangerous to measure ourselves against each other 2 Corinthians 10:12 (NIV).

There is no argument or doubt that we as ladies have a choice on who we associate ourselves with,  but you do not have the right to try to intentionally demean or belittle the next lady, who is also a daughter of the King, your sister in Christ, as a way to make yourself feel greater, more important, or that you are better than.

The last thing Satan wants women to do is genuinely support one other spiritually, mentally, and physically, to achieve our purposes together and triumph together over imps, turtles, spiders, serpents, and cockatrice and knock the enemy out the park!

Remember Chaos and Confusion does not come from the LORD.  Normally it defaults to our flesh, or the enemy using us literally or figuratively Gal 5: 19-21 (NIV).  We should show each other the fruits of the spirit to ensure mercy is given back to us Gal 5:22-25 (NLT).  You may have never felt that you needed mercy for yourself, and all was well.  But there is always one thing that may bring us to our knees, make us humble yourself before the LORD, and ask what shall I do LORD and how shall I do it?  Instead of criticizing another woman, pray for her that her precious eyes are opened to truth of God, and that she becomes coachable to new things and new ways of doing things.

When a person is new to salvation, they may or may not be held accountable for every little action, specifically knowing the right way to conduct oneself. Only God knows.  But when we learn better, we are supposed to do better, and are actually held accountable of our thinking, and our actions towards others.  The way you treat someone who you have nothing to gain from shows you where your integrity and character lies.

A great conference I would recommend for all ladies is coming to the DFW area next year 2017.  The WTAL (Woman Thou Art Loosed  – Bishop  T.D. Jakes and First Lady Serita Jakes) conference will be held in Dallas next year 2017. For more information on Facebook, access it at or by accessing Google at

Be encouraged today and all days, Ladies! Love you all!

“The Devil Is A Liar!”

Devil, you are a Liar! John 8:44 (NASB)

The very fact that we are all alive and well is a good indication WE will make it through, but confident in this one thing, that He (Jesus) who began a good work in each one of us, God shall perform (not us performing) literally until God returns. God shall complete what He started! Phil 1:6 (KJV)

Believe It Now!!!
Not Later!!!

As my Pastor stated in one of his sermons, “Life will make you a prayer warrior.”  Will you pray for yourself today?  Can we intercede for each other?  When their are two or three in agreement, God shall be also be there in the midst! Matthew 18:19 (ASV)

Whose report are WE going to believe? We must be steadfast and not waiver between two opinions, as God explains in 1 Kings  18:21 (NLT)  “Then Elijah stood in front of them and said, “How much longer will you waiver, hobbling between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!” But the people were completely silent.”

Do you know what it means to hobble?  Hobbling is to “walk in an awkward way, typically because of pain from an injury.”  By Jesus’ stripes we are healed from our infirmities, our insecurities, our pains, and our transgressions. Isaiah 53:5 (NLT)  For who believes in the LORD is free indeed. John 8:36 (NIV)

The pains WE struggle with will not be in vain as long as WE keep our focus on the LORD.  God reminds us, “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”  1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)

Please remember that I am praying for you and agreeing with you to fulfill your God ordained destiny and purpose!  Please feel free to subscribe and follow today!

“What If?”

What if it doesn’t happen?
What if I am not good enough?
What if he’s lying to me?
What if my family rebel against me and my purpose?
What if I get lied on?
What if I don’t get everything I want when I ask?
Does this mean that God loves me less?

NO, Absolutely not!
God proved His love for us when he accepted our past, current, and future sins upon himself.
I am sure GOD did it!

Cause He loves us, He wants us, He has to adore us. He made us in the image of Him.

So what if it doesn’t happen!
So what other people do not correctly measure your self-worth!  You rate you a 10 #winning!

So what if He’s lying to me, He is either going to fly straight or be released by God (Ladies, we won’t have a say!)

So what if our family members rebels against us, remember we must forgive 77 times “Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times” (Matthew 18:22 NIV).

So what if you’re lied on, Jesus the Wonder of Wonders “Who Has No Sin” was lied on!

So what we cannot get every single thing we ask for, for we have a Heavenly Father that sits high and looks low to protect us sometimes from ourselves and save us all the time from dangers, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, guaranteed security!

God loves us more than we will ever really imagine until we embrace our spiritual mature in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 6: 11-18 NIV), Such a higher weight of Glory!

You have to forgive yourself and others to truly begin healing and becoming whole in Jesus Christ.  After the drama of the wounds, pains, lies, backbiting, and discomfort comes JOY, Forgiveness, Purpose, Prophecy, and Healing.

“So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority (Colossians 2:10 NLT).

Much Love to you all Today!  God loves you and I do too!

Love, Vanessa

What is (are) your challenge (s) today? I challenge you to put on your armor of God and come forth as pure gold. Despite the fact the odds are not showing right now in your favor, will you stand? Despite the fact that you want to give up because you are fed up to your eyeballs, will you stand in the integrity of your faith in Jesus Christ this day?  While you may be overlooked, stepped on, and put aside, will you stand for Christ?

My answer is Yes, Yes, Yes, and Amen! Even though times can be exceedingly challenging, remember there is nothing that we go through that our Jesus has not felt or experienced! “Birthing Pains”

Birthing can be defined “as the beginning or coming into existence of something, our natural heritage.”  Natural Heritage, to me, represents, our destined and equipped places, which this further means it is natural to constantly grow and mature in due season, something like growing pains. According to Hebrew 13:21 NLT, God equips whom He calls to do His will.  When God calls you, He qualifies you. For God knows the plans for our lives, for us to have a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV).

Birthing Pains in God’s word, Matthew 24:8 states, “But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.”  In this instance it appears that birthing pains is something that is within our natural heritage that becomes necessary to further expand our horizons and territory.

Normally one would associate birthing pains with a pregnant woman in labor having her child or children; however, it is possible that we may experience some birthing pains on our road to purpose, in filtering through our daily processes, between Dimensions, and from Glory to Glory.  It does not depend on our desire or effort, but on God’s mercy (Romans 9:17). God raised an army of children for this very season on purpose.

God is faithful to those who diligently seek him.  The word further declares in Isa. 46:4, “I will be your God throughout your lifetime–until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.”  This is good news family of believers, God will always be with us, even to the end (Cross Reference Joshua 1:9).  The true and living God will never fail His worshippers!  So I encourage to continue worshipping and moving right along with your journey.  God honors those who honor Him!  May God bless you and your family day to day.  Please feel free to subscribe and follow today.

“Believe It For Yourself”

When it comes to our God-ordained purpose, we must believe our purposes will be manifested in the earth. We must believe in ourselves first.  We cannot expect another person or entity to believe in our purpose before we believe in us. We cannot base our self-worth, self-value, confidence on someone else or someone else’s opinion. It is Grace that covers us and Grace that sustains us and Grace that develops us. It is by Grace it is manifested and we do have a chance to recover ALL!

God tells us in His word that He is faithful to restore all things, Big and Small, Reputations and Relationships, to His children.   “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm, my great army that I sent among you” (See Joel 2:25).  Remember Jesus paid the costs for our locusts to be removed, for he beareth not his sins for He knew no sin, but he bore through all of our sins.

Ensure that we think and do daily cleansing of our spirit and daily cleansing of our heart, asking the Holy Spirit to guide us through our processes.  We should desire to be more effective and headed in the direction of complete wholeness.  Let us not waste time focusing on what we have lost or been denied by man.  Believe in restoration for yourself and our families! God has the power and ability to turn our situations right side up, and get us going in the right direction.

God tells us that our latter will be greater than our past, which is recorded in Haggai 2:9 (NIV).  It says “The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the LORD Almighty”.  God also advises us that He will make our name great, we do not have to make our name great according to Genesis 12:2 (NASB) it says, “And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing!”

God’s word also explains that His children will do greater things than He according to John 14:12 (NIV) says “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”  So be encouraged with High Expectations of your victories and promises to be manifested in your life today!

I urge you to please share your testimony with me today of how God has brought you out or bringing you out, I would love to hear from you today!  Be blessed!

Love, Vanessa

“Favor Costs!”

God spoke to me in a small still voice, saying ” Your Favor Costs!”   First, I am grateful for the Holy Spirit, the wonderful counselor, who guides us into all truth.

Remember God’s ways are not man’s ways.  We must not lean to our own way and/or our own understanding.  For when we do this, there is a tendency for F.E.A.R (False Evidence Appearing Real) that rises up in an attempt to hover over our destiny.

It can be heartbreaking, and a relief, once we realize that we are not to have the spirit of fear, but of a sound mind.  God has us! If we could just be submissive enough to walk in love and purpose, while being vulnerable enough to care what happens, but strong enough to trust God at all times, through ALL things.

Everything has a time, a season, and a purpose.  Let us embrace God’s guidance and enjoy our journeys instead of belaboring (harping on) issues.  Let us be joyful, ready to work, and doubtless, knowing that God is above it all.

Let us be in agreement with our LORD.  How can we walk, less we walk in agreement.  It cost Jesus,  so do not think we will not experience pain, while traveling to our purpose.  There is no way around it.  The journey of faith is a humbling experience, and when we are favored, there is even more pain, rejection, and frustration, but guess what, it is A SETUP! A setup for us to be blessed and enter in a spiritual favor and dimension that our families has never experienced.  So I challenge you to rise above the naysayers, frolickers, and personal procrastination.   Don’t be scared to succeed, and do not be scared of people and their faces, tell them its God!  Walk in Favor and Be Blessed!

Love, Vanessa

“A Relentless Call”

I wanted to let you know TODAY that I am encouraged and I want you to be encouraged!  I love to learn new information and I love to read.  It is a blessing that God has allowed me to come across this book “Relentless” by Kevin J. Moore, PhD.  This book is a life changer and has convicted me about a statement I read in an excerpt of this book, that WE must have a HOLY concern for our fellow brothers and sisters.

My question to you today is are We acting as Strangers or as the Beloved?  Are we so careful to encourage each other consistently through the Christian walk of faith?  Are we making every attempt to be all we can be for our neighbors to the best of our ability?  Are we careful to demonstrate Jesus more than we demonstrate us?  This book woke up some of my internal instincts to be more attentive to people’s needs in general.  We really never know who may need our smile, our hand in help, or our gentle push to not give in or up.

I had a meltdown this morning about something very minor, BUT GOD!  Sometimes we have to ask people to help us sometimes.  We are human with flaws, but we can still aspire each day to be a better person with a positive attitude each day about life.  Our flaws are a part of us, that makes us who we are, and they come to no surprise to GOD. YES GOD can use our flaws to promote us higher depending our individual perspectives.

Let me ask you, Do you connect with your calling or are we acting, as mere strangers, to our assigned tasks, or various roles and responsibilities?  I ask the LORD to forgive me for being focused on the wrong things at times!  I ask you to forgive me now LORD.  We are to LOVE the LORD with all our heart, mind, and soul, and LOVE our neighbors as we LOVE ourselves.  Who is your neighbor today???

Let me tell you, you may be shaking in your boots, you may feel like a champion right now, but either way, God can use you!

God admonishes (urges) us to lift others up instead of using our mouths to tear people down.  The only things we should be pulling down are strongholds over our minds, bodies, or souls. Do not fret over evildoers for God is watching over us!
